Only three ingredients:
4 cups of flour
1 cup of icing sugar
A pound of butter (How can you go wrong?)
Mix ingredients. Be prepared to work the dough.
Roll into balls. Put the balls on a cookie sheet and press them down with a fork.
Bake them at 350 for 7 minutes.
Optional: You can stick some of those candied cherries onto the cookies using icing as glue.
Also optional: You can go to the Dollar Store and get some little tins. Put the cookies in the tins and give them as gifts.
