What 20th century theorist are you?

I just took this test and found out that I'm Jacques Derrida:
"You are Jacques Derrida! You founded Deconstructionism in 1966, and have been a thorn in people's sides ever since. You argue that texts cannot be reduced to a single meaning, among other things. You are dense, impenetrable, and not dead."
I have to say I'm pleased with this test result.

Did the quiz:
You are Louis Althusser! You tried to bring together structuralism, Marxism, and Lacanian psychoanalysis. Your brilliant analysis of ideology and the state is still widely influential. You murdered your wife, were put in a sanitarium, and lived the last decade of your life alone before dying in 1990.

I was wondering why I've been feeling kinda low energy --- I've been dead for 17 years. Better cancel the cable...

Chair, you are low energy. You've been talking about cancelling the cable for months.

Ok, also did the quiz:
"You are Martin Heidegger! Your reputation is stained a bit by the fact that you were a member of the Nazi party, but your groundbreaking Being and Time is still read by a whole lot of people. You overuse the hyphen, and make up a lot of words. You died in 1976."
This is actually a bit frightening,
because I do have some German heritage running through my veins, I tend to over-use the hyphen and make up words, for fun, and I used to own a dog I named Heidegger (because he had some German Shepherd in him). Dwarf, you needn't bother comment here about this. I already know what you'll say.

You are Jacques Lacan! Arguably the most important psychoanalyst since Freud, you never wrote anything down, and the only works of yours are transcriptions of your lectures. You are notoriously difficult to understand, but at least you didn't talk about the penis as much as other psychoanalysts. You died in 1981.

Who knew Lacan was such a fan of detective stories?

Hey Pandora! I'm Jacques Lacan too! How handy - we can each take shifts, and be somebody else entirely when the other of us is being Jacques... I dibs Joey Ramone!

You are Fourth Dwarf, your examination of the high maintenance woman and exploration of what really happened to the kitties are pinnacles of scholarship in their fields. However, as hard as you try, you will always be left hanging out to dry.

I did it too:

You are Franz Fanon! The father of postcolonialism, you were a prominant French academic until you resigned your post and joined the Algerian resistance. Your works are surprisingly readable for a major theorist, although you only have two of them. You died in 1961 of Lukemia.
