The Banality of Blogging

Today I woke up groggy, but after 2 cups of coffee, I was ok. I had to do a bit driving today. The roads were slippery, but not too bad. They don't plow the roads in Montreal as well as they do in good old Ottawa. My cat has been wired today. He got into the garbage last night. Today he destroyed a roll of toilet paper. Bad kitty! I did a fair bit of reading today, but the writing is not progressing. I need to reflect on this. Now I'm going to attempt another Bikram Hot Room Hell Yoga class. It's still snowing. I will walk there. Yawn.
Click on Rick Mercer's The Last Guy to Get His Own Blog . You will laugh.

Ags, if you were in good ol' Ottawa today, you would have seen that the roads aren't being plowed all that well here, either. Guess we used up all that snow budget, eh Larry?

Hey, about that Roger guy who finally got his own blog - maybe he could be the ESIs' new muse?

Hey, since you're in the middle of all this French culture stuff -- have you ever read French Women Don't Get Fat? A tad puerile in places, but rather sensible as a lifestyle guide. She would never recommend hot yoga or anything that makes you sweat and/or uncomfortable. AND you get to eat pretty much anything you like.

Zoom: Roger? Tell me more.
XUP: Thanks for the recommendation. I don't seem to get fat, so maybe I'm already living the lifestyle -- except for the occasional lapses into hot room yoga.

Ya, I don't have fat problems either, but I liked the book because of its attitude toward food and exercise and feeling good in one's skin and feeling good about eating the things you enjoy eating and feeling good about not wanting to work your ass off in some gym and because I really like the overall French attitude toward life in general
