Santopol Roulant

We need a Santropol Roulant in Ottawa. This is a groundbreaking meals-on-wheels program. They manage to have a steady flow of young, enthusiastic volunteers to make, package and deliver about 100 meals to seniors every day. They do all kinds of other things, too: hold intergenerational events, educate people about how to make a rooftop garden, organize bike workshops, etc.
Could this work in Ottawa? I can envision something like this in Mechanicsville...
